We are pleased to announce the participation in the aircraft certification in icing condition workshop organised by the Italian Aerospace Research Centre (CIRA) on the 12-13th of November.

Special guests of the event are the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the NASA Glenn Research Centre (GRC) and the National Research Council of Canada (CNRC). Invited experts will provide focused presentations on selected topics related to Supercooled Large Droplets (SLD) and Ice Crystal (IC) certification, exploring the regulatory requirements; aircraft, engine, and helicopter manufacturers needs; the calibration method, performance, and limitations of ground-based facilities; and the current capabilities of numerical simulation codes.

The workshop will take place at CIRA (Capua, Italy). A tour of the CIRA ground facilities will be organised on November 12th at the end of the working sessions.
